A walk up Red Hill in the centre of Canberra - we saw a couple of brown snakes but I wasn't quick enough to get a photo of them.

And then home to enjoy the apple and quince blossoms in the garden.

before the two day drive home - it was smaller on the North Coast than down south - but the water was still just as cold - and the roads just as muddy.

The next day was windy on the coast so we headed in to an old abandonned farm and had a look around.

We had the beach and jetty virtually to ourselves as the local school holidays were over and we enjoyed its various moods.

July Holidays

After my Indonesian soujourn it was back to freezing Canberra and into the July holiday escape - this time south to Kangaroo Island via the Hay Plain.
